It Cosmetics - Fall Product Review

As most of you know from one of my previous blog posts, that I've pretty much converted most of my makeup over to the It Cosmetics line. That being said, there's still some products that I haven't tried and a few that I recently tried - so I want to share my experience with you! First is the Luxe High Performance Eyeshadow Trio. I really love the Naturally Pretty Eyeshadow Palette, but I wanted to save that more for when I go out. I wanted a neutral shadow for more of an everyday wear. This does the trick. I opted for the Pearl Luxe color and it's the perfect trio of neutral tones. The darkest color is matte & the 2 lighter colors have a slight shimmer to them. They go on easily, are highly pigmented and last all day!

Next is one of my new favorite products. The No Tug Waterproof Gel Eyeliner. I currently have this in 2 colors - black and highlight (which is shown here). I have never used an eyeliner that glided on so easily before. You barely have to apply any pressure - so it's truly no tug. And the color - so intense, rich & pigmented. I'm really loving the highlight color - I use it in the inner corners of my eyes to help brighten them & it looks amazing. This lasts all day, won't rub off and stays put in the most humid of weather.

Next is the Hello Lashes Mascara. I am a mascara snob. I am very brand loyal. I have been using Lancome religiously since 2001. I've bought a few different brands in between, just to see if I happen to find something better, and I haven't. This mascara for me is just ok. It goes on really nice. I love the wand & it doesn't clump. But, it doesn't have the staying power that I need. I was watching a movie & literally my eyes got a little teary - not even full on crying - and this mascara was running and coming off. It also didn't pass my cardio test. At the end of my workout - I looked like a raccoon. It's fine for me for every day use, but if I know I'm going to be crying or it's raining, I'll stick with my Lancome Hypnose Star. It's not waterproof - but I've shed some tears while wearing it & I've worn it through sweaty cardio sessions and that stuff stays put.

Finally, and I've been eyeing this up since it came out because it's just so pretty to look at, is the CC + Radiance Ombre Bronzer. This product is gorgeous - in the compact and on the face. It combines a sheer radiance that you can use to highlight your cheekbones, etc AND a matte bronzer that you can use to contour - all in one. I ordered this from QVC and it came with the gorgeous fluffy fan brush. If you've never used It brushes before - you're seriously missisng out. They're the best quality I've ever found and they do the work for you. With the radiance part of the bronzer, you only need to touch the brush into it and sweep it gently over your cheekbones and it gives you a gorgeous glow. This is one of those products that you only need a little - so this will last a long time. Well worth the money!!!
