PiYo Week 5

My fifth week of PiYo started out a little rough...

I still wasn't feeling 100%, so my intensity in my workouts wasn't where I would have liked it. There's a fine line of pushing yourself and pushing yourself too hard and I wanted to make sure that I didn't cross that line and end up making myself feel worse.

Then, on Saturday, my husband and I were going to re-do our bedroom. Not a complete overhaul, but it was going to be a long project. We started at 9am - taking furniture out, cleaning, vacuuming, etc. Then we had to travel to the other side of Pittsbugh to pick up 2 new pieces of furniture & bring them back home. Then came furniture assembly. That took some time. Once we got everything put together and all of our old stuff put back in our room, it was time to organize things. Before we knew it, it was 7pm and we were starving...and exhausted. When my husband suggested we just order a pizza, I was totally on board. I was so hungry and way too tired to cook. There may have been some cheesy breadsticks involved too ;) And, I paid for it on Sunday. I woke up swollen from the large amounts of sodium and just felt blah. I got back right on track and have been feeling a lot better now that I'm back to fueling my body properly. One thing I noticed this week is that I'm starting to feel much stronger in my workouts. I'm able to do more & that feels really good. My body is getting stronger and my back/ continues to respond so well to this program. I'm also really starting to see more definition in my muscles and my clothes are a lot looser!!! My weight loss with the program continues to be consistent. This week, I lost 2.2 pounds - bringing my total to 11.4 pounds in my 5 weeks so far. I feel strong. Confident. 95% pain free. And proud of my progress so far.

So many other ladies in my current PiYo group are also feeling the same way. If you're ready to give PiYo a try, let's chat ASAP. July 31 is the deadline to get into my August Challenge Group & we'd love to have you join us! You'll be getting advice & guidance not only from me, but from 4 other Coaches on my team. We want you to succeed and we are banding together to make it happen!!!
